Snohomish County faces significant access gaps: about 80% of residents live in a childcare desert, and the 2025 Snohomish County Early Education and Care Report found 40% of families switched providers in the past 1–3 years because of affordability or access. The same study shows a mismatch: over 40% of providers report available slots, while 44% of families encounter long waitlists, and 44% of providers say families simply aren’t aware of their services.

WFT handles the time-consuming work of intake and verification — assessing each family’s schedule, preferences, and constraints — and refers only to providers with current openings. Getting Started

Choose a plan that fits your workforce, then meet with WFT for a detailed intake to define the scope of work, employee locations, eligible benefit usage, payment method, company liaison, and billing process.

Child Care Referral Flow

WFT conducts a thorough intake with your employee to clarify schedules, preferences, and constraints, then identifies suitable local providers. We email three vetted matches that currently have openings, follow up on placement after two weeks, and provide a 90-day guarantee on referrals. Families also receive a complimentary subscription to the Snohomish County Family Newsletter.

Reporting and ROI

WFT will deliver an annual report summarizing referrals, placement outcomes, and aggregated family‑satisfaction results. Using that data, we will collaborate with your HR team to present a clear ROI analysis for your company.

Backup Care Process

Families complete an intake via our online portal or by phone. Within 24 hours WFT provides 2–3 vetted, available backup care referrals, follows up on placement and collects referral feedback within 72 hours, and includes a complimentary subscription to the Snohomish County Family Newsletter.
