Terms and Conditions

This Service Terms and Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between Washington Families Thrive ("the Agency") and the undersigned individual ("the Client") for the purpose of professional childcare search and referral services.

1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

The Agency agrees to conduct a customized search for childcare providers tailored to the Client’s specific needs as outlined in the Family Intake Form. The Agency’s "Extra Vetted" service includes:

• An exhaustive search of providers within the requested geographic area.

• Verification of active licensing and compliance with state regulations.

• Advanced screening of two (2) to three (3) "Extra Vetted" options, which includes direct outreach to providers to confirm current availability, preliminary interviews by our specialists, and a review of any available quality ratings.

2. PAYMENT OF FEES

The Client acknowledges that Washington Families Thrive is a fee-for-service agency.

• Pre-Payment Required: The total service fee must be paid in full before any search activities commence.

• Non-Refundable Nature: Fees are paid for the professional time and labor involved in the search process and are non-refundable once the search has initiated, except as otherwise provided in the 90-Day Guarantee.

3. 90-DAY SATISFACTION GUARANTEE

We stand behind our vetting process. If the Client selects a provider referred by the Agency and the placement is terminated by either party within ninety (90) calendar days of the start date, the Agency will:

• Perform one (1) additional "Extra Vetted" search at no additional cost to the Client.

• This guarantee is a one-time courtesy and must be invoked within 14 days of the termination of the initial placement.

4. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

To ensure a successful search, the Client agrees to:

• Provide accurate and complete information via the Family Intake Form.

• Respond to Agency inquiries within three (3) business days.

• Understand that the final decision to hire or enroll with a provider rests solely with the Client.

5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND DISCLAIMER

While the Agency performs rigorous vetting, the Agency is a referral service and not an employer, contractor, or partner of any childcare provider.

• No Warranty: The Agency does not guarantee the future performance, conduct, or continued licensing status of any provider once the referral is made.

• Indemnification: The Client agrees to indemnify and hold Washington Families Thrive harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from the actions or omissions of any childcare provider selected by the Client.

6. CONFIDENTIALITY

The Agency agrees to keep all family information confidential, using it only for the purpose of securing childcare. Conversely, the Client agrees that the provider profiles and proprietary "Extra Vetted" data provided by the Agency are for the Client’s personal use only and may not be shared with third parties.

7. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington.
