Refund and Satisfaction Guarantee Policy

Effective Date: February 19th, 2026

At Washington Families Thrive (WFT), we stand behind the quality of our childcare and backup care matching services. We understand that finding the right care fit is essential for a family’s peace of mind and an employee’s productivity. Our policy is designed to ensure satisfaction through service remedies and flexible contract options.

1. Satisfaction Guarantee for Families

We provide a 90-Day Satisfaction Guarantee for all families utilizing our matching services.

  • Service Remedy: If a family is not satisfied with the childcare or backup care provider matched through our service, WFT will provide a new match consisting of two to three (2–3) additional providers.

  • Eligibility Period: This guarantee is valid for 90 days from the date the family submits their initial intake form.

  • Process: To invoke this guarantee, families must contact WFT in writing, identifying the reasons the initial match did not meet their needs. WFT will then initiate the secondary matching process.

2. Employer Trial Period

To ensure our services align with corporate wellness and benefit goals, we offer employers a 90-Day Trial Period.

  • Evaluation Phase: Employers may opt for an initial 90-day trial of WFT services to evaluate the impact on their workforce and the quality of the matching provided.

  • Transition to Annual Contract: At the conclusion of the 90-day trial, the employer may choose to transition to a full Annual Service Contract. There is no obligation to continue beyond the trial period if the service does not meet the employer's specific requirements.

3. Annual Employer Contracts and Termination

For employers who have moved beyond the trial period into an Annual Service Contract, we provide a path for termination based on service satisfaction.

  • Satisfaction Clause: If WFT’s services are not meeting the expectations outlined in the service agreement, the employer has the right to terminate the annual contract.

  • Notice Period: Termination requires a 30-day written notice.

  • Final Billing: Any outstanding fees for services rendered up to the end of the 30-day notice period will be due upon termination. Pro-rated refunds for unused portions of pre-paid annual fees will be issued within 30 days of the final contract date.

4. General Terms and Limitations
  • Nature of Service: WFT provides matching and referral services. While we guarantee a re-match process, we do not guarantee the specific availability of a third-party provider's schedule or their independent business decisions.

  • Refund Processing: In instances where a monetary refund is authorized (primarily applicable to pre-paid employer annual contracts), refunds will be issued via the original payment method.

  • Non-Transferable: These guarantees and trial periods are specific to the original family or employer and are non-transferable.
